A tax dispute was won for an amount exceeding 1 million UAH

On March 17, 2015, the specialists of WinnerLex Law Firm won a dispute with the State Tax Inspectorate of the Kyiv City Main Department of the Ministry of Revenues and Duties.

The contested amount was 1,009,200 UAH.

The subject of the dispute was that the tax authorities did not recognize the expenses incurred by a private entrepreneur under the general taxation system for the purchase of raw materials used in production, deeming the transactions invalid and unreal. As a result, personal income tax was additionally assessed.

Furthermore, the controlling authority incorrectly calculated the amount of personal income tax, arbitrarily interpreting the legislation and applying incorrect calculation methods.
